Sociology of Religion | The Sociology of Religion
This is an online outline for my Sociology of Religion course. This outline contains the full text for the first two course units as as well as table of contents (so you can see what else is in the course) and a summary of the evaluation rubric. I don’t want to say this course is designed as a “basket weaving” course, because it is challenging, but it designed for people with no experience in university, and no experience in sociology. That is, you can take this course and be “enlightened” whether you are a student or not, confident in your abilities or not.

Evaluation
To receive credit for SOCI 231, you must achieve a minimum grade of “D” (50 per cent) on the final examinations, and an overall grade of “D” (50 per cent) for the entire course. The weighting of the composite grade is as follows:
