Some small typo’s and a query: “these once shiny children of light became the ugly offspring of darkness.” Hmmm, is anyone ugly? Isn’t it the ugly behaviour that’s the problem and I wonder if we could perhaps have “became the offspring of ugly darkness” instead? Typo’s: “For example, some of the priests, perhaps after being picked once too often in school by the other blindfolded children,” Picked ON once “pain and suffering were not the abuses that would lead to damage and scaring, but “lessons” SCARRING “truth (i.e. that people were wearing a blindfold), all they could to explain the darkness was blame the people.” Was TO blame “Some of the older people, the elders, would tell tale tales of a shiny, happy place that had once existed” Remove TALE “And it was hard search, to be sure,” Was A hard “prophets got the blindfold back on quick as wink.” As A wink “Still other priests were so scarred and fearful and paranoid that they suggested” so SCARED? “Even though they got the blindfold back on they were scarred, and confused.” were SCARED “but that could kept the people (and their pocketbooks) occupied for decades.” could HAVE kept “Or, the prophets could do what that the priests did and blame the people.” Remove THAT “only the second time, they weren’t so overwhelmed so and so the blind fold stayed off a little longer, and” remove SO after overwhelmed “they doubted whether anybody could ever offer them real Truth, real solutions, and rel change.” REAL change “killing had become a permanent fixtures,” a permanent FIXTURE On a separate note, there seems to be a functionality glitch as when composing a ‘Reply’ the PREVIEW option doesn’t work for me – the Forum main menu page pops up instead as a smaller box?
