The Socjourn is my experiment in the potentials of the Internet and the World Wide Web. Results are as yet tentative but early indications suggest the potential for revolutionary transformation of the scholarly communication system, something that I hoped would happen when electronic journals came on the scene (if only because of library and student pressure, and financial necessity (read my dissertation)) but never occurred for reasons I’m too polite to explain in writing.
