Interview by MAK -> site subscriber

Hello Michael, I found these sites:
http://www.lightchannels.com
http://www.saptarishis.com/There is a certain Guruji Krishnananda who says he is working on ascension. He also had a guru: Amara, who initiated him. I don’t know how awakened/authentic he is. But he seems to be working on the same lines. I haven’t read his books yet, but my guess is, he is not as explicit and in depth as your work.

What is your energetic read of this person and his work. Should I contact him and associate with his work? What do you suggest?

Hi Mak.

have you read Parable of the Blindfold yet?

The guy strikes me as someone who has a good initial understanding of things. I’m not sure however if he is prepared to do the necessary work to ground and expand what he knows. He might be a bit lazy. I also think it’s too soon to tell whether he will be able to stay true to the insights in the face of the temptations that tend to go along with the job he wants to do.

what do you think?

Thanks Michael for the reply.Yes I’ve read the parable of the blindfold and it was in the same context that I asked.I am from India and so is this guy. For thousands of years people here have revered sages and saints (who have incarnated in large numbers). Unfortunately some have been complete fraudsters. However some have been good ( no one being as explicit as you though). So the point is, people respect those talk of spirituality, naturally. This guy has a movement going on, talks of ascension, energies, awakening etc. Seems to me (with my limited state of awareness) he is going well, must be pure, does not state things explicitly, but at least is not a fraud. Still I found some traces of worthiness, being less than divine beings, conditional awakening, attaching less importance to those who have incarnated etc.How much he understands, I don’t know. But definitely has some experience. (Has seen a bit through the blindfold)

Since he is from India, it would be great if I can associate with people who are walking the path. But I don’t know if I should.

Sometimes I wonder: 1. When so many people are working on ascension, why do they not tell things as simply, explicitly and be true to the core as you. Is it that none of them have been able to take their blindfold off?2. In such a case, all of us walking the LP, would we be ever able to awaken as much as you have? I doubt. Thanks,

Mak

Hi Mak

I think with the tools provided by the LP you are probably strong enough to associate with this fellow. I like to think that with the training you receive here, you’ll also be wary and in control so if things go screwy, you will be able to get out. It is nice to associate with people you can talk to, but you have to be careful. Sometimes it can be like walking through a minefield. Somebody like this can easily give into the temptations of ego and become a destructive guru who “attaches strings” and otherwise creates dependency and followers. That’s not the goal of any true spirituality obviously, but it’s tempting for people. The biggest thing you should watch for is emotional connections. Given the fact that many of us don’t come from very loving childhoods, we have a lot of unmet emotional needs. Gurus (whether Indian or American or Canadian or whatever) exploit those unmet needs. So watch for that. As soon as you see them start to manipulate people’s emotions, that’s a sign that their particular ship is sinking.

As for your other questions.

1. When so many people are working on ascension, why do they not tell things as simply, explicitly and be true to the core as you. Is it that none of them have been able to take their blindfold off?

There’s a lot of reasons. I think partly people are just lazy, or they don’t realize the effort involved. They have an insight, and often they understand, but it’s a big task getting that insight into readable form (not to mention dealing with all the muck and fear). Sometimes too people just puke out their mystical insights without editing or any kind of critical thought or vetting process. Sometimes they start out right, but then give in to the many temptations that beset the awakening physical unit. In one way awakening and empowerment is very easy. It’s all sensible, logical, loving, and empowering. But in another way, it can be difficult. The indoctrination we undergo, and the damage we experience, makes an otherwise normal and natural task into a Sisyphean struggle.

2. In such a case, all of us walking the LP, would we be ever able to awaken as much as you have? I doubt.

Oh yes. Absolutely. The entire goal of the LP is to wake everybody up fully. The LP isn’t fully done yet though. The Core is mostly in place, the Intermediate level also, but the Advanced materials are another couple of years away. Also don’t undermine your own awakening and advancement here. You and I are having a discussion that is quite advanced in the general scheme of things. It shows considerable progress already. I think it is good to be modest, but also you have to give yourself credit where it is due!

Alright then, India has produced many spiritual people who did real good, in terms of konwledge or deeds. But none spoke clearly of collective ascension. Over a period of time they became demi-gods, to be worshipped instead of being a source of inspiration. So does it mean that you are the “most” awakened person we’ve ever known.
