The LP Core provides the foundation upon which you will manifest your awakening and empowerment. The LP Core begins by introducing you to the idea of authentic spirituality. Authentic spirituality, we learn at this level, is spirituality that works. Authentic spirituality helps you awaken and empower, and improves the life of you and those around you. Authentic spirituality does not provide excuses for the suffering of this world but instead provides you the tools to end suffering and transform this world. The LP Core level provides you with the tools and concepts you need to decide for yourself when a spirituality is authentic or not. At the LP Core we talk about the outcome measures that you can use to judge the effectiveness of a spiritual path, and The Seven Pillars of Authentic Spirituality that you can use to evaluate the integrity and purity of a spiritual path.

Of course, one of the things that an authentic spirituality should do is to answer the Big Questions and that is what the LP Core does. The LP core introduces you to authentic spirituality and provides clear, internally consistent, logical, and fruitful answers to all the big questions (and that’s not just my opinion) from the nature of God to the purpose of creation and your role in it. There are no stones left unturned. By the end of the LP Core you have a basic understanding of why we exist, the nature of creation, the nature of God (and god), and your glorious and powerful place in it.

Beyond giving you the tools to think critically about spirituality, and providing you with answers to all the big questions, the LP Core also teaches you some critical spiritual technique that you will need as your own process of awakening and empowerment gets underway. The tools may seem basic, and you may already know some of them, but don’t ignore them. The techniques you learn here are critical and will guarantee you won’t get bogged down in fear, confusion, or worse, when the time comes (in the more advanced levels of study) to begin reconnecting to the glorious Fabric of Consciousness.

The LP Core also introduces you to the idea of energy (or spiritual energy) and its relationship to money. As you will come to realize as you progress through the LP system of awakening and empowerment, money/energy is a critical spiritual topic, and a critical and necessary resource that we should all have access to. Rather than skirting the topic, moralizing about the evils of money, or avoiding a discussion altogether, the LP Core provides you with a unique and powerful window into a otherwise secret and carefully guarded area of human inquiry. The information on money and the economy that you learn at this level will allow you to see the world we live in in an entirely new light.
