To write or not to write, that is the question

The following articles contain tips for being a better writer. They are designed to help sociologists and social science students learn to communicate their insight, wisdom, and knowledge in a more direct, lucid, and intelligible way. The tips here will also help you get your work accepted by The Socjourn since we avoid, like the plague, the obtuse, complicated, and verbose prose that passes for “writing” in the common Sociology degree.

Incidentally, if you fancy yourself a writer and want to contribute to the elevation of sociological prose and global outreach, consider a “how to” article on some aspect of the writing process.  Help your colleagues and students overcome EPMO and embrace a shiny new world of authentic communicative interaction.
